Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with client in understanding the business requirements, modify the software and improve the performance. (10% of time)
  • Develop Test Plan for testing software performance for every release before execution. (5% of time)
  • Develop Test Strategy, Execution Schedules, Estimations and End to End testing. (5% of time)
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. (10% of time)
  • Create, develop and execute test cases to ensure software quality. (15% of time)
  • Conduct Test cases and Test plan walk through with other team members (10% of time)
  • Record, Track, and Manage the defects found during testing: (10% of time)
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. (5% of time)
  • Collaborate with offshore team to resolve information technology issues. (5% of time)
  • Consolidate and report Daily QA Status update to other stakeholders of project. (10% of time)
  • Design, Develop and Modify software systems using scientific analysis. (5% of time)
  • Modify Software programs to improve performance and response times. (5% of time)
  • Train other users in computer interface or software use. (5% of time)

The position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and related work experience.
